So at age 42, for the first time, I flew to Paris for our honeymoon. I was so in love and so excited to share such a magical city with the man who brought so much magic into my life. Unfortunately Andrew died in December 2010 of brain cancer. And it’s been really hard being without him. But your images remind me of the magical time and connection we had and my heart still does.

You are very lucky. Lots of people, including me, go to Paris and dream of returning and living there permanently. You are living the dream! Lucky you.

August 7, 2012While I don’t consider myself a francophile, I have become a sucker for all things vintage, especially bicycles, autos, and the like so your sight is right there on my “faves”. Your pictures capture the vintage, somewhat weathered, somewhat patina’d colors of France beautifully. Somehow you manage repeatedly to show that many things we take for granted as merely useful objects, like a chair or a bench, can truly be appreciated for more than their basic utility and instead be reinvisioned as art.
