So Angelina’s hot chocolate. We finally had it. My son’s response?: “Rich.”

I know that Angelina’s is widely debated, but I love it, tourist trap or not. It’s a classic, and yes…RICH is the right word! :)

Agree. I was never really into because I feared the tourist trap aspect, but I am glad we did it with the boys. ;)

Your son has a great taste, what a comment from a child hah! And I love that Paris is such a city that you can find a giraffe looking at you on a random street. You make me want to live in a city that I’ve never been! xx

That giraffe is great – would it be rude to ask where it is?

Mmmm… hot chocolate and giraffes are a good combination. Have you tried the hot chocolate at the Petite Rose? You can choose from 70 and 85 percent chocolate for super intense flavour- and the patisserie is all soft pink and brown. Next Paris colour compilation maybe?! Bon weekend!!

Rich is right! Despite the fact that my last visit to Angelina’s coincided with that of a skittish and robust rodent, I’ll always return for another cup of that deliciously dark and rich hot chocolate. It’s irresistible once you’ve given it that initial go.

I stayed in Rue Pelican (where the giraffe is situated) last October. Did you see the Pig too?
