It was impossible not to shoot red and turquoise after seeing the young woman in the top photo pull it off.
Wow! That is some amazing hair I love this set of colours – one of my favourites so far
Have ordered your book off Amazon and am looking forward to a nice quiet night in with a glass of wine and gorgeous photographs
Hm! Interesting. I wouldn’t have thought to try that combo.
Just this morning I couldn’t work out what to wear with my new red jeans (even had to give up in the end), thanks for the inspiration
Unexpected and brilliant.
Great post, and love the book. Paris is all about the textures and colors…visuals. Love seeing it through your lens.
It’s a wonderful color combination -especially the strawberry photo! Although, they are all beautiful and the painting is intriguing! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing as always!!, have a lovely day!!
Very brave girl with the colour coordinated “everything”… divine as always!
Love your blog… you take gorgeous photos!!
Great pics, thanks for sharing!
The lady in the first pic, beautiful! Very Kate Winslet-y in ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’
Udita – I thought so too! She is beautiful.
also think so)
or like Ramona – “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”
anyway, so fantastic
may be this color is more maroon or.. vinous)), than red
and i like chair really!
I can’t believe this! That woman in the photo is my friend! Her name is Eny and her hair is always a different color. It was hot pink when I met her, now it’s jade.
I was clicking around the internet and landed here, only to see her in the front page! What fun!
No way! That is so cool.
If you are in contact with her, please let her know that she was the inspiration behind this color series. Also, if she is uncomfortable with her photo being posted here, I am happy to take it down.
Thanks so much for letting me know!
Wow! Love the turquoise and red together, the cafe and the fashion.
Not many women can pull off a look like that …what fun and it looks stunning oh her=)
Great colours and photos. I just got your book, Paris in colour for my i pad; I love looking at in when I am on the tube to work. I really miss living in Paris ( live in London now), but I have your blog and book to remind me of the best city in the world.
Just thought I’d stop by and say I adore your site, your photos and your book. I was going to order recently, however I was in the National Gallery of Ireland here in Dublin on Sunday and they have copies in stock! Just so you know that your work is appreciated in many corners of the globe Keep up the fantastic creative work.
Hi Amy – Thanks so much for letting me know. I am surprised it’s traveled so far already. I had no idea!
Beautiful! Love the strawberries!
One of my two favorite color combinations. My other fave is orange and turquoise.
Crazy beautiful hair – I would definitely rock it if I had her complexion! <3
Great photos & great post. Thanks for sharing.
so beautiful post, love this color inspiration, love your blog….
Gorgeous, as usual!
My mouth started watering as soon as I saw the strawberries! I’m going to look for your book! Thanks so much for sharing!

My favorite color combo! Gorgeous photos!
How creative and observant of you to find these color combinations in such unexpected places. The strawberries on the counter is my favorite, as it’s likely unintentional, yet intuitive. Great eye!
