This cheese shop is right across from the apartment we’re renting on Rue Lagrange. All the cheeses we tasted were heavenly, but the goat cheese rolled in honey and pistachio was just insane.
His cheeses really are incredible! I spent a week working at his shop in the 15th a couple of years ago and tasted as much as I possibly could when not helping customers. He also does a custom cheese that consists of slices of Roquefort and slices of quince paste that is pretty amazing. The honey and pistachio chèvre must be new! I’ll have to try it the next time I’m there.
We saw the one with the Roquefort and quince paste. We’ll try that tomorrow.
Cheese and bread… It’s so simple, but nothing makes me miss France more!
Oh wow, that goat cheese in honey and pistachio looks amazing. I hope it’s not too seasonal and is there in a few months time, when I’ll be visiting.
We shopped in the left bank one in December, could have bought most of the shop!! They do taste fantastic.
Cheese: plain, simple, and divine. Thanks for sharing these earthly delights. They make me miss Paris so much more!
One of my favorite shops in Paris! I love their mini Epoisses. Enjoy!
I visited this shop when I was in Paris back in 2010. I stayed in a hotel on Rue Monge and would walk by daily to buy different cheeses. I also made frequent stops at the bakery right there and regularly bought raspberries at the produce market on the corner. I was happy to read this post as it brought back so many memories!!

This was probably my favorite shop in all of Paris. We went back three times in the week we were there!
