That looks like a great little restaurant :)

If you want to try a great restaurant before leaving (although you might have already tried it), go to Les Papilles (http://www.lespapillesparis.fr/EN_index.html) it is ABSOLUTELY delicious!

Love your blog :) You take such beautiful pictures!

What a pretty window box that will be! And so useful.

Many herbs make gorgeous flowers. I’ve always loved Rosemary flowers, which look like tiny iris’s. I’ve seen them from palest lavender to deep, dark purple.

So much more ‘wild’ looking than a bunch of stuffy flowers. Yet the little rows make it looks so organized. I love the combination and the sense of ‘taming nature’. Makes me want to eat there.

    Stephanie –

I started an herb garden last year and it was surprisingly successful. I know nothing about herbs, but watched a few videos on youtube about how prune, care for each herb.

    Good luck!

How cute! Hudson’s been doing some “gardening” today by pouring out my water on the carpet and imagining flowers are growing. Perhaps this would be a better project for us.

I am wanting my husband to build me some flower boxes off of our kitchen deck and I want herbs in them. I hope we can actually pull it off this year! Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh my goodness, Nichole—I don’t know how I got here, but I’m so glad I did! Your photos are just gorgeous and I can see that you are a researcher after my own heart (i.e. the Red Wheel Barrow post). We will be moving to St. Germain-en-Laye in 2010. Living in Belgium for the last 9 years, and 2 years in the Loire Valley before that, has given us several opportunities to visit Paris over the years. I was smitten from the first sight of the Eiffel Tower from the peripherique! I’m looking forward to finding some more special little places through your blog.

    Thanks for sharing~~

Hi…I just found you via “A Cup of Joe” via “Smitten.” I’m excited to follow your blog and see your beautiful pictures of Paris.

BTW…I just read your Valentines Day post. It made me laugh. My husband is from the Lancaster area and has since introduced me to Whoopie Pies. We always make a stop at the Bird in Hand Bakeshop to pick one up when we are visiting.

    Description
There are approximately fifty species in the genus, with much variation. A considerable number of the species have small (1 cm diameter or less) rather flat, 5-petalled blue flowers growing profusely on straggly stems, flowering in spring.sportsbook Color variation is somewhat frequent within species, and blue or purple forms are common. They are popular in gardens, and cultivated forms often show a mixture of colours. Forget-me-nots prefer shade.Forget-me-nots can be annual or perennial plants. Their root systems are generally diffuse. Their seeds are found in small, tulip-shaped pods along the stem to the flower. The pods attach to clothing when brushed against and eventually fall off, leaving the small seed within the pod to germinate elsewhere.march madness Seeds can be collected by putting a piece of paper under the stems and shaking them. The seed pods and some seeds will fall out. They are widely distributed. Most Myosotis species are endemic to New Zealand, though one or two European species, especially the Wood Forget-me-not, Myosotis sylvatica have been introduced in most of the temperate regions of Europe, Asia and America. Myosotis scorpioides is also known as scorpion grass. http://www.canadacasino.comForget-me-nots are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Setaceous Hebrew Character.
