Blue

I don't know to what extent, but I will somehow incorporate that shade of blue into my next home.

Suzanne –

I remember that crayone!

I learned not to go too crazy with colors on the wall. I painted a few rooms vibrant colors last year, and I was sick of it soon after the paint dried. :(

I like a very neutral palette that I can accent with pops of color.

I did incorporate that shade of blue into my home on the walls in our small dining room! Let me just say that vibrant colors are better in small doses like a lamp base, throw pillow, or sculpture. Oh yes, and don’t ever paint your ceiling that color too! Advice from someone who is really bad at decorating!

P.S. Great photos. I love your photography.

There used to be a crayon this shade of blue in the 64 size box of Crayolas…was it called teal? It’s a beautiful color wherever it appears.

Colored doors…something about them that always says, “take my photo!” :0)

Sometimes a blue gets into your system and you don’t have a choice but to find a way to put it to use. There is this shade of blue at Val Verde that I keep trying to put in my own space. :D

Love the photos!

Love that color too, it’s probably the closest blue to the lights at the airports that I can get in paint.

I am a big fan of blue…especially towards the cyan. There’s something very honest about the color…don’t know if that makes sense.
