Hidden Treasure

Hidden from me that is. Until now. This charming little street is just a few blocks away, and yet I somehow missed it. Since then, I've stalked it. A new object of my affection.

I love that street, I discovered it when I stayed in the hostel at the top of it and took my boyfriend back there when we were over last year. It’s the perfect Paris street.

These little streets epitomize the essence of Paris. Charming, unique and hidden.

Love the photographs (as always)

ahh—you know something funny-the first time i came to paris, i was 21 and i stayed at a little hostel that was right there—when i came back i had dinner in a little restaurant right there—it is so pretty—i love that you and i are drawn to the same things in paris—i am so looking forward to meeting you!
next week—the show is from t he 4th-8th—60 rue de Richelieu in the 2nd…just up from the Louvre…
i hope you’ll come anytime—tell them you’re there to see me. also champagne reception is next thrusday from 6-8—-but really come anytime!
If you have an evening free and would like to have a little dinner (le rouge gorge?) or something just let me know which date is best and i’ll
set it aside…

p.s.—have you tried Aux Tonneaux yet on rue montorgeuil? classic rude and french and awesome—-the cuisse de canard breaks my heart it’s so good—as does the best steak tartare i’ve ever had…ok—just sayin…i could eat there every night and alot of the designers from the show always end up there…

awwww I love this. By far one of the best things about Paris…turning a corner and discovering a whole new street {and cafe, and shop…}. Thank you for the mini escape.

I have been on that street also. It was early in the morning and the street cleaners were out in force. Water was running down the bricks and those guys with their brooms were busy. It was a great site. I loved that street, it seemed so magical.
