High Five

If you like the caramelized sugar on top of crème brûlée, you'll like this. If you like ice cream without carrageenan gum, high fructose corn syrup and factory flavors, you'll like this. If you like eggs, milk, cream, sugar and brown sugar, you'll like this. Because that's all that's in it.

Evan brought two pints of Häagen-Dazs "Five" home last night, and we systematically--and without regret--consumed both. He had the ginger and I had the brown sugar. The ginger was good (I sneaked a bite), but the brown sugar? Great.

My guilt for eating the whole pint was assuaged by the wholesome ingredients. Is that justification?

That ice cream sounds perfect.

Is that justification? Of, course it is! Sounds way too good. I hope this is a trend in packaged food products. I prefer to have the ability to pronounce everything I eat.

Yes yes yes! I tried this recently myself and I could not believe how delicious it was—even more delicious than when I used to bake cookies with my mom and sneak spoonfuls of brown sugar when she wasn't looking!

Eating a whole pint is DEFINITELY allowed when something tastes this fab!

The vanilla is also lovely too…

Yum. We applied similar justification recently to our homemade ice cream.
