I'm brightening up the boys' room with photos of their favorite places in Paris. I added this one today.

We spent nearly every Saturday at the carousel in front of the Hotel de Ville last winter, and I'll never be in that square again and not think of my sons as 4 and 2 year-olds. We always ended the day with a crepe from the adjacent cart, and the melted chocolate and silly faces reduced me to a melting, sentimental mess.

What sweet memories to cherish for a lifetime! I love that you and Evan introduced your boys to Europe at such a young age.

How wonderful! I remember that carousel in Monmartre. It was pure bliss, as I'm sure your boys could agree!

First I love your blog!

2) My husband and I are going to be visiting Paris in Oct! This will be my first time and his second. Just wondering if you would ever be so kind to inform me on some great shopping sites and of course places to eat!

and I am such a kid at heart so I will def. be checking out the carousel! I think I am more excited to see that than the eiffel tower!

Oh, I road a carousel in Paris so very long ago. I wonder if it was the same one I rode. I spent a summer as a exchange student in Paris when I was 13 years old. Oh what a wonderful summer and a wonderful memory. Thanks for jogging my memory with your photo.

I love carousels…one of my favorite memories as a little girl was the carousel that my aunt used to take me on when I visited. Amazing blog…I'll definitely be asking you for Paris tips when I go back!
