Pumpkin Anxiety

A few years ago, Evan carved these pumpkins for our son's Halloween party. This year he's determined to outdo himself, and he's currently sketching some ideas. The speed at which the pencil is moving indicates he's either on to something or feeling the pressure. It's quite a scene.

Perhaps I should remove the uncarved pumpkins from plain sight (they're currently a few feet away from him on the counter). It may be like staring at a blank sheet of paper.

He's so creative it makes me want to stomp around. Wish I had half of his creativity.

I think he sketched an owl at one point. I like the idea of an ancient village. ;)

Holy crap. Those are awesome! May I suggest an owl? Or the Eiffel Tower? :)

Those are very cool and I look forward to this years pumpkins! Good luck! I can't carve a pumpkin for nothing but I could make a cute skirt for it!

Wow, those are beautiful. I'm lucky if I can manage two triangle eyes and crooked mouth.

Wow, he is so talented! I think he should carve the Statue of Liberty :)

I get pumpkin carving anxiety too! Last year I carved a really cool bird on a branch and now I must outdo myself :) These are excellent!
