Let it All Hang Out

On the laundry line that is. We're in Lancaster with my parents this weekend. Love the photo ops here.

Laundry in the wind turns my thoughts to my ancestors, to the labor they undertook on a daily basis to build family and home. I also see community, women hanging out of windows in narrow Italian streets sharing stories and news.

More importantly, laundry in the wind conjures a sensation of freedom.

Simply priceless.

Nice image.

Nichole, you've got just 'bout every one of my favorite things in that shot – blue sky, patch of green grass, fantastic barns, old houses, white fence, and laundry in the breeze. Jeez.

Oooh, laundry drying in the breeze. Takes me back to my childhood days in New England.

You'd think people would do that more often here in sunny SoCal because not only would the clothes get dry but they'd get warm, but…

theft. And I love my jeans too much.

What a gorgeous shot! This kind of image makes me miss the east. Maybe I need to visit Lancaster again one of these years.

Daisy Janie!

Yes. Four, in fact. I can't help myself. Also had shoo-fly pie.

Healthy eating took a back seat. ;)
