I don't know about you, but contrary to common sense, I'm actually looking forward to getting back to work. We turned our house into a den of slack over the past few weeks, and I'm looking forward to waxing more Superwoman than sloth. How about you?

BTW, who else loves the "den of slack" line from Reality Bites?

i know what you mean. i'm anxious to get started too, but woke up more sick. not such an auspicious start to the new year. guess there is more lazing around for me. so did you have the pork and sauerkraut? I LOVE sauerkraut!

I've been in a total den of slack – spent the last week after christmas partying in Berlin and I. Feel. Disgusting.

Still not motivated enough to get to the gym today, though. Tomorrow, tomorrow…

Happy New Year!

den of slack is a great phrase :)

I didn't have the sauerkraut. I feel awful, and I haven't told my mom. LOL.

I love it too, but poor Evan suffers for hours due to the smell.

"you are master at the art of time-suckage"

I spotted that reality bites quote right of the bat and laughed when you cited it ;)

PS: I am not of generation X but was clearly heavily influenced by you all. Every time you reference the early/mid 90s it's some movie or band I love (hehe)

I am so totally done slacking. Right after I publish this comment. :)

Nicole – Me too.

It really defined/defines Generation X, no? It's scary how many times I reference it.

Den of slack was achieved.

Now to leave said den.

Oh, and I love every single ounce of Reality Bites.

Love that movie, came out a year after I finished university, so it really struck home.
We're sort of in the den of slack, it is summer holidays so we don't do much except swim, that's an outdoors activity so it doesn't count as slacking around does it?

PS Nichole, tahnks for stopping by, I am really flattered. Now the pressure is on!!!
