Sunday

Coffee, kids and candy. Yeah, it was a great day.

Despite the relentless chill in the air, we walked (and walked, and walked) and park hopped all day. We countered most of the cardio with crepes and candy, but still figured we still came out ahead.

I've melted into the couch I'm so tired. Hope you had a great weekend.

Now I'm in search of a few caramels to melt deliciously in my mouth!

Looks like a day well-spent!

And now I want caramel, too. (But I almost always want caramel, so I really can blame you for reminding me….:-)

Marta – Most of those were shot at the Jardin du Luxembourg. That old carousel with the rings was a huge hit.

That looks like the park & the merry go round by the Musee Marmotan…

I am actually all sugared out. It's so rare for me, but NO more.

Salt, please. ;)

How funny. In a way, we here in Bretagne mirrored what you did in Paris. Yesterday, we had nougat (pistachio, vanilla and strawberry) from the Boulangerie around the corner, four rectangular pieces for a euro. I made the girls some caramel au beurre salé for dipping tart apple slices into for their goûter. They then rollerbladed all over the neighbourhood while I sipped a huge bowl of café au lait and read a book in the quiet.

It would have been much more fun to do all of this in Paris…
