Coupla things. First, the top photo is proof that Parisians like to set up charming photo ops for tourists. Go ahead and notice the coordinating flowers, table and strip of paint on the building. Second, is there anything better than the French tradition of le goûter? Le goûter is an afternoon snack usually eaten around 4pm. I mean we Americans snack, but I like the idea of making it a formal daily activity. Kind of like afternoon tea in England. Who's with me? Of course if this idea gains ground, we'll need a refined name. We can't allude to scarfing Cheez-Its while our European friends are taking afternoon tea or enjoying l'heure de goûter.
