More Tuileries Chairs

Tuileries chairs, Paris Tuileries chairs, Paris Tuileries chairs, Paris Tuileries chairs, Paris Tuileries chairs, Paris I have so many of these, yet I never tire of them. Evan and I are finalizing our July Paris trip (it's July?!?), and we're hoping for a more relaxed pace than usual. From the couch today, I'm thinking I'd like to park my butt in one of those chairs and consume some pages of Alain de Botton's The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work - my current read. Have a lovely Fourth of July weekend.

You make a case for doing a coffee table book about found, stacked, and worn out (but beautiful) cafe chairs. It'd be a best seller. :)

HA! Oui, we are kindred spirits. I have scads of these funny green chairs. They always look like they've had a party overnight! I planned to park my butt in one and read and be a "Parisian" this last trip but that didn't happen. I had too many friends that were in Paris and visited Paris while I was there and it was another "hamster on a wheel" trip pour moi. I loved every minute but was exhausted by my last day.

Oh…..i love the tuilleries. I just posted about our trip to Paris – we got back a week ago. They just put the ferris wheel up. We were trying to check a lot of boxes with our little boys, but I so wish I could have just sat in one of those green chairs and enjoyed the view! Elizabeth

The relaxing angle of those chairs, and some early evening sunshine would mean only one read page before I close my eyes and drift away….

Love the chairs. They look like they are laughing while at a party.

Love your photos, your stories and your musings, one of life's sweet pleasures for sure is sitting back in wonder of the beauty in the humblest of objects. You make them sing and whisper and I don't want to miss one word of the conversation.
