Or where paint meets a different color paint and kinda looks like the sea and the sky.

There are so many buildings in Montmartre with multiple layers of paint in varying shades. Because the line at which the two colors meet is often rough, it reminds me of the ocean.

I've been searching for a painting of the ocean (in grays) and haven't had much luck. Perhaps I could just go with one of these.

Lindsey – It's ever-changing because of them painting over the graffiti. I think that's what adds to the charm of it. It's all fleeting.

you're absolutely right, definitely mimics the ocean! I'll have to check back and see what it looks like now, only a week later!

Erika – There are so many! I have a ton more, because once I started taking photos, I noticed more and more.

I never realized how Monmartre had all those different color buildings last time I was there. :) I too love the diversity of land to sky or ocean to sky.
