Chairs, Stripes and Hearts at Saint-Eustache

Saint-Eustache Chairs, Paris Interior Wall Saint-Eustache, Paris Saint-Eustache, Paris Those stripes, which are part of a large painted mural on the inside of this breathtaking example of Gothic architecture, have flecks of gold sparkle. I wonder if there is some significance? Interesting trivia: Louis XIV took his first communion here, Molière was married here, and Mozart held his mom's funeral here. Excellent grouping. I like the elegant repetition – and the history factoids!

I love that through simplicity you have created striking images, that together are even more fantastic. I see we both share a love of taking photos of chairs!

Florence – We didn't step foot in Saint Eustache while we lived there, despite being just a few blocks away! :)

Funny how you rarely see the things in your own backyard.
