Somewhere Between Frowning and Smiling

Paris Graffiti
So I'm not going to Paris next week. It's for a good reason, so I'm alternating between happy and miffed.
The bad news is, I was out of butter, so bit the bullet and ordered it at an obscene price. See, I can get butter here, it's just that I have to pay five times as much.
A few things before I sign off for the weekend:
Jenna's new kitchen conversion poster rocks.John Stewart: I love you for this.I made Rachel's white chili. Perfection.
Have a great weekend.

What a great photo! It actually depicts how I've felt much of this week. :) Glad you've got more butter on the way.

Oh I"m pouting for you. Anytime a trip to Paris gets nixxed, it's cause for poking that lip out!

I'm sorry we can't get together as planned…but we don't live that far away as it is…we should arrange a meeting stateside. :)

Butter to the rescue! (reminds me of scene in The Women where she dips the stick of butter in the sugar…hehe.)

You're such a gourmet bandit :) I have to admit I'd risk it too for some beurre salé xxx

I love those expressions. I've been there all week. Now I'm laughing, though!

Christine –

Yep! I can't get the brands I like here, and it cost just a euro or two.

When I order it in the states it costs me $8 for a pound.

But isn't the grass greener on the other side, and the butter more buttery when it comes out of someone elses fridge…? LOL!

I spent a few days in Paris last summer, I'd definitely go back for butter :)
