Saturday was gray and COLD, and after a three hour walk, it was nice to warm our hands with some vin chaud.
Though there were fewer holiday decorations than I expected, Montmarte was off to a great start with these festive reds.

Paris seems like it would be magical at the holidays, wish I could be there around this time or year sometime!
Hey, question, are the hanging Santa's a French "thing" I was in Nice a few years ago and saw one(mind you it was the summer) and thought it very funny…

Love the photos and love what I ordered from you. Can't wait to frame them and hang them up.

My brother and i spent christmas in paris a few years ago in a damp but warm studio apartment in the bastille. it was magical and wonderful (even if i was with my brother!) christmas day we enjoyed mulled wine atop the eiffel tower and then, strangely…sushi for supper! thanks for reminding me of this trip! :)

Postcards – Not sure, because it was my first time in Paris over the holidays as well. I did see a lot of them in Montmartre, though!

Any French natives or expats want to chime in?
