Our white Christmas came a day late, but it was worth the wait. There are about 2 feet of snow, and some of the drifts come up to Evan's chest. Fun!
Ahead of the storm, I scattered some bird seed on our fourth floor balcony and watched our regulars eat furiously. I'll admit to worrying about these little guys as the snow piled up and the wind howled. This morning, they were back for more and surprisingly able to walk on top of the snow.
I hope you are enjoying the holiday downtime. I've been unplugged and loving it.

Megan –

A question I obsessed about last night! I was googling phrases like "how do birds survive snowstorms!"

It's amazing how resilient they are.

Precious.

One question tough…How do their little legs not freeze off?!?

What cutie pies. And how lucky for them that your al fresco dining area is open through the flurries.
