Mariage Frères, Esprit de Noel Tea
Yesterday, right smack in the middle of playing with robots, I heard the doorbell ring.
It was a package. From Paris. From Lindsey.
I tore it open (like any self-respecting girl would do with a package from Paris) and discovered tea. Not just any tea, tea from Mariage Frères that I'd been wanting to try for a long time. Nice!
I clutched the package in my hand and sneaked past the boys for a few minutes of chick time. As much as I was loving the smash 'em up, bang 'em up play with the Hexbugs, a hot cup of tea (special tea!) sounded so good. It was after all, a snow day.
I filled the tea pot with water and fondled the tea bags while it heated up. Such cute packaging. That's all it takes, right?
In this instance, the quality of the tea lived up to the fancy packaging (that's not often the case, no?). The Esprit de Noel blend is warming, spicy and perfect.
Lindsey, if you are reading this, thank you SO much for adding a little surprise to my day.
Check out Mariage Frères teas here. They are also available at Dean and Deluca in NYC.

Aesthetic Alterations. I would love that green tea with vanilla!

YUM! Mariage Frères tea is the best. I have seven kinds in my cupboard—down from eight, as I just used the last of my Opera Green Tea. It had this touch of vanilla that's perfect for winter, so I'm creating an order list for more. Esprit de Noel seems like it should go on that list!

You have a beautiful friend!

Yum! I love Mariage Freres, but I'm a sucker for Hediard too. My parents are heading to Paris on Monday, so I can't wait for the goodies they bring back!

Those Frères are fantastique. And this particular flavor sounds particularly delicious. No wonder you were dying to try it.

Trouble is, now I am, too.

Lindsey, if you are reading this, shall I send you my snail mail address? (;

How thoughtful & sweet! I meant to get there last time we were in Paris, but ran out of time. Love the look of it, and I'm a big tea drinker.
