Ladurée Windows

I couldn't resist. They really know how to seduce a girl, huh? And such pretty spring colors.

Be still my heart! Lucky for me, mr. fleurishing is in Zurich this week and guess what they have there…a Laduree!! A little "bite" of Paris will be mine this weekend. Lovely!

Green and pink are the new black and I love that. Gorgeous photos.

"Ooooo, look at that," was my immediate response upon seeing the first photo. I love pink and green together and anything that gets us closer to thinking about Spring.

Adam- Hi!

Funny, I rarely take photos of the touristy places (in fact, I've never posted a photo of the eiffel tower here), but I happened to walk by Laduree and couldn't resist the windows.

I support your decision to photograph there. A month or two into my last trip, I just decided to never be shy about taking any photo anywhere. Sometimes touristy shots are just pretty — or, like me, sometimes laying down on the sidewalk, just to get the right angle, is how things must be done for the right shot.

Risamay –

Yeah, that's just it. I liked it when it was special, but you can hardly fault them for wanting to grow their business.

Ladurée isn't touristy. It's an institution! Founded when? 1860-something? I only wish they would stop opening up shops all over the place, outside of France. Crazy as that sounds. Makes it less special. And, I guess, more touristy.

Part of what is so exciting about going to Paris is getting to get my Ladurée on. If the day comes when I can do that Stateside, it will be a sad day indeed.
