Cheese: Week Thirteen
Bijou and Bonne Bouche goat cheeses just slid into my top five. Seriously guys, I can't possibly do these justice. So head over to the Vermont Creamery to read what someone who can speak eloquently about cheese has to say about them. Bonne Bouche Bijou My friends Sarah and Rachel joined us this week. Despite a gaggle of snack-seeking children, we managed to slather bite after bite onto pieces of warm bread. So good! Can I admit something? This is the type of cheese I wouldn't have bought last year. I was curious, but never brave enough to try. I'm glad I've gotten over it, because I've discovered that these particular types of goat cheeses are my favorite. It makes me wonder what else I am missing. PS. So about that third cheese up there on the left? Yeah, that was a goat brie. But in a part blonde/part exhausted/part tipsy moment, I threw away the label. No idea who makes it, but it was also good.
