These Aren't Your Grandmother's Morning Glories

Casually coaxing a vine up the trellis? Nope. This is morning glory cultivation on speed. Competitive morning glory-ing. I'm determined and obsessive. These two traits coupled with a lofty vision of lush blue flowers on my fence (see here) led to six weeks of babying seeds on the windowsill. I have a litter of twenty morning glories, and I don't care if: - They're difficult to transplant. Transplant or bust, dammit. If I win, I win big because they'll grow larger and produce more flowers. Score. - I don't have room for twenty morning glories on my 30ft x 30ft patio. I have friends. I just placed the whole family outside to acclimate them to their new environment. Six weeks from now, I plan to kick back and admire a tangled, cobalt blue fence frenzy.

I too have morning glories on the brain. I just enameled some in prussian blue! Enjoy them.

Just remember to place them so your are on the "sunnyside". I bought very expensive morninggloryseeds the first time and hadn't realized that they would all open to the "wrongside" that is the outside of our balcony. And our neighbors aren't that flower crazy so it was rather wasted! Lotte Søborg, Stockholm

haha i love your doggedness taken toward gardening. the leaves are so slender and wispy(lovely). due to past failures i've taken a similar attitude toward my bonsai trees :)

The vine looks familiar but I'm not sure if it's the one that's on my mind right now. It surely looks great.

Gifts are the symbolic expressions for your inner emotions that your heart has preserved with utmost care. A gift from you indirectly brings your presence within the grasp of your loved ones. When the occasions or the special events are on the way, your gifts add a different dimension to them. It’s just a trip to that will make this possible.
