These Aren't Your Grandmother's Morning Glories
Casually coaxing a vine up the trellis? Nope. This is morning glory cultivation on speed. Competitive morning glory-ing. I'm determined and obsessive. These two traits coupled with a lofty vision of lush blue flowers on my fence (see here) led to six weeks of babying seeds on the windowsill. I have a litter of twenty morning glories, and I don't care if: - They're difficult to transplant. Transplant or bust, dammit. If I win, I win big because they'll grow larger and produce more flowers. Score. - I don't have room for twenty morning glories on my 30ft x 30ft patio. I have friends. I just placed the whole family outside to acclimate them to their new environment. Six weeks from now, I plan to kick back and admire a tangled, cobalt blue fence frenzy.
