Cheese: Week Fifteen
Cheese with garlic? It could have gone both ways, right? Subtle and complimentary or overdone. Well, the Champignon de Luxe--garlicky soft cow's milk cheese--ended up being the favorite of the night. We also had a really great aged gouda goat, and (I am ashamed to admit), yet another double cream Vermont Creamer goat. Clearly there is an obsession brewing. I was surprised to learn that the Champignon de Luxe was made in Germany. Check it out.
