Paris Color: French Navy

I'm just going to go ahead and admit that I'm smitten with these stacked chairs. What is it with me and chairs!?! I must have taken at least fifty shots of these, and afterwards thought long and hard about my unyielding obsession with objects people sit on. I like them empty and I like them in groups. I wonder what a psychoanalyst would say.

Wow, I don't know what a psychoanalyst would say, but I hope he doesn't cure it if the result is as stunning as this…

You're not alone. I have similar issues! With chairs, windows, and doors. Groups are great, but I'm also obsessed with portraits of single chairs, windows, or doors. What does it all mean? :D

I wonder if there are psychoanalysts out there who can analyze a person strictly based on the sort of photos s/he takes. That could be interesting.

I have the same! With chairs and windows and doors. Maybe this is contagious?!

I like the chairs, it's a rhythmic shot somehow.

Talking of French navy, there's a good 'play on words' joke… that the new motto of the French Navy is "To the water, the time has come!" or, in French "A l'eau, c'est l'heure." But you have to say it fast out loud, to get the joke.
