I waited a long time for the train to arrive, and there were very few of us in the station. I appreciated those few tranquil moments.

I got really confused on Paris metro but loved the atmosphere down there, on some stations.. :> Just what you said, tranquility.

It’s hard to ride the subway after riding the metro. I really wish New York City would care more about public transportation. Though I hear they are thinking about renovating Penn Station.
