Rue St. Honore, Daisy Dukes

I'm quite certain Parisians don't use the term daisy dukes (does anyone anymore?). Whether it's the addition of black tights or absence of a Dukes of Hazard cultural reference, I think she wears these well.

Ohlala, how un-french! I love her style. Great picture too(as always)! Pinned it! :)

In the Boston area back in the day, we called them short shorts.
I still have mine from the 1970s. I now consider them wall art.

Not sure I could pull this look off either but I just got back from Paris and London yesterday and saw this look all over the place…. It will be only time before it hits here in the US I believe…. :o)

This post made me smile. Leave it to a Parisienne to make “Daisy Dukes” look chic. Don’t think I could pull it off, but agree that she’s making it work!

i think the tights in the same color as the boots make it chic.
and that the cuffs are rolled, not frayed.
