Weekend Reads: Paris, My Sweet + Wayfare Mag
May I take a moment to talk about the cool things my friends are doing? Amy Thomas Amy is a friend, sweet freak and fellow copywriter who moved to Paris to write for Louis Vuitton. She chronicled the entire experience on her blog, God I Love Paris. I've always enjoyed reading about Amy's experiences because they not only parallel my own (the whole copywriter moves to Paris thing), but she's hysterical and as sweet as the pastries she noshes on. So what happens when a sweet freak moves to Paris? It's all in her brand new book, Paris, My Sweet. Spolier alert: There's molten chocolate cake and salted caramel involved. Anne Ditmeyer I met Anne and our mutual friend Lindseyfor drinks on Rue Montorgueil last week. We spent the first part of the evening discussing Anne's new venture: Wayfare Magazine. I had just finished reading the first issue and couldn't wait to tell her how much I loved it. The photography is beautiful, the stories are personal and engaging, and a clear passion for travel is evident. A big high five to Anne and her team for providing us with some international eye candy. If you feel like getting lost this weekend, check out Wayfare Mag here.
