Cafe St. Regis

Cafe St. Regis is one of those places I've walked past a hundred times. Until this last trip, I'd never photographed it. Then I noticed that the chairs coordinated with the  facade of the building and signage. Upon closer inspection, I realized the black sign was peeling and revealed a layer of reddish paint. The chairs are also black and reddish. Coincidence?

I actually finally gazed a few hours away at this little cafe on my last trip. It’s sort of new-ish, but in a beautiful vintage way. I loved it. :)

Hi Natalia -

I agree. I was walking to a client meeting in NYC yesterday and people were bumping into each other, tripping, etc. because of the texting, “iphoning,” etc. I think we’ll all reach a point where we pull back.

your good eyes for details make me look closely at the things in my surrounding. It’s really incredible how many fascinating things remain unnoticed because we are too busy sending text messages or doing other things while walking the streets. Thank you for reminding me this.

I walk pass this restaurant almost every day and I’ve never noticed that. You have a great eye for details :) I’ve also bought your 2012 calendar, it’s so pretty! And I also wrote about it on my photo blog. I love reading your blog, I drop by every day!

Great find N. I have done the same thing, walk by a hundred times and then stop dead in my tracks and snap away. I lOVE that sign.

Your observations are as lovely as your photographs! No day is complete without at least one visit to little brown pen.

Be certain to secure this with waterproofing silicon, as well as drilling it into place for a
secure fit. So if still don’t know what to do yet, consider a carpentry career.
If you haven’t yet, open the box your motherboard came in and use the manual to make sure you have
everything that should be there.
