From the gorgeous short story "Araby" in his collection "Dubliners." It's the story of a young boy's first experience with love, and the merging and contrast of those feelings with the reality of his meager surroundings in Dublin. In this illustration, the cityscape merges with the silhouette of a woman, the buildings becoming decorations on her dress and the smoke from the chimneys her hair.
