Jane Austen "Run"
"Run mad as often as you choose" - Jane Austen
Everyone needs to cut loose once in a while, to throw off the restraints (in this case, some serious high heels), and go. Yes, the heels are somewhat anachronistic for the Regency era, but then again so is the typeface and the paper and while we are confessing, I also changed the quotation from the original spelling of “chuse."
Why, the illustrator's shameless impertinence is enough to send the most stalwart reader to the nearest fainting couch! But before you swoon, dear reader, please recall that Ms. Austen would prefer you embark on a mad run, as it’s more condusive to Health with a capital H.
